One of San Francisco's longest-running and most popular venues for gay women looks likely to close because a hike in rent. The Lexington Club in the city’s Mission District has been welcoming women for 18 years, but the owner says that gentrification in the neighborhood has led to fewer customers and increased costs and she has no option but to close it.
