Homeless World Cup football tournament comes to Glasgow

Glasgow is to host the ninth Homeless World Cup. The football tournament takes place in July and will feature 64 teams from 51 countries.
The city’s George Square will be transformed into three football pitches, with space for around 100,000 spectators, and entry is free. Last year’s tournament was won by Mexico. "We will have 512 players with us,” said organiser Mel Young, “and every single one of them is at some stage of their journey towards a more stable future.” Read more: bbc.co.uk
