Many parts of Europe and the east coast of the USA are currently sizzling in unusually high temperatures, leading to people - and animals - looking for unique ways to cool down.
The heatwave in the UK and Ireland is forecasted to continue for up to another two weeks, with both Scotland and Northern Ireland hitting their highest recorded temperatures. Meanwhile across the Atlantic, New York and Philadelphia have both been warned about high temperatures ahead of the 4th of July holiday.
