NYC's Grand Central Terminal is hosting a 'private dinner' for one couple this Valentine's Day

Grand Central Terminal is going all out for Valentine's Day by closing off the entire Main Concourse so one lucky couple can enjoy a Michelin-starred meal there in private.

New York City's Grand Central Terminal is one of the busiest train stations in the world but for two hours on Valentine's Day, its Main Concourse will be given over entirely to one couple. To celebrate the launch of its new Instagram channel, @Love.GCT, Grand Central is giving away a pretty impressive prize. On 14 February one couple will enjoy a Michelin-starred three-course dinner with wine pairings from Agern under the astronomical mural of the Main Concourse, which will be closed off to give the winning couple privacy. Cocktails and a bottle of Champagne will also be provided, courtesy of The Campbell Bar; as well as luxury take-home gifts from Diptyque and Li-Lac chocolates.

To make the day even more romantic, a Steinway artist will perform life on a Steinway & Sons grand piano, and a photographer will be on hand to capture the best moments of the experience. When dinner is over, the winners won't have to travel too far from the Beaux Arts building as they'll be staying for free in the Presidential Suite at the iconic Grand Hyatt New York hotel, directly connected to Grand Central, with breakfast included.
