About Zoria
I'm a polyglot, polymath, poet. Or simply, a curious cat. I'm usually distracted by everything Tokyo has going on, unless I'm travelling to obscure islands and villages around Japan. I gush over cute robots, pass under rattling train tracks, eat ramen and know things. I also do things – fly over an active smoking volcano, eat raw fugu blowfish in a fisherman's home, rent friends, drink sake with monks, peek into Michelin chefs' kitchens, and more. Then I sit down and I write about it.
My writing has appeared in Tokyo Weekender Magazine, The Japan Times, Metropolis, Japan Info and many others. You can also occasionally read me in Tokyo Poetry Journal, where I am an Associate Editor.
