About Virginia
Although based in Melbourne, Virginia spends a fair amount of her time on long-haul flights to destinations around the globe. Her major passion is reserved for the countries and cultures of the Mediterranean region, and she has covered Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Italy and Spain for Lonely Planet over two decades of hugely rewarding work as a guidebook writer.
Virginia has also worked on LP guidebooks to her home country of Australia, Indonesia, Iran, the US, Armenia, The Netherlands, Finland and Malaysia.
