I am a freelance writer and magazine editor based in Cambridge, UK. I love capturing local stories and trying to get to the heart of the place - whether it’s on my doorstep or thousands of miles away. Growing up in the Cotswolds before moving to Suffolk, Edinburgh, Norwich, and most recently, Cambridge, I am lucky enough to have lived in some of the most beautiful parts of the UK. My favorite kind of travel is always linked to seeking out atmospheric and historic places with a deeper story to tell, whether it’s the plague village of Eyam in the Peak District or Ecuador’s Jumanji Caves. Some of my favorite journeys have been to the West Coast of Madagascar, the Gothenburg archipelago, and the island of Gozo.
