About Nori
Nori is a photographer, writer and videographer, the author of the 2021 The Travel Photographer’s Way and a contributor to several other books. She’s won a few photography accolades too, most recently the British Guild of Travel Writers’ Photographer of the Year in 2017 and Wanderlust magazine's Travel Photo of the Year at the start of her career in 2010. She’s written, filmed and photographed for numerous publications over the years, from BBC Travel and The Independent to Conde Nast Traveller and Lonely Planet.
An experienced public speaker, photography judge and tutor, she has presented sessions at the Royal Geographic Society and National Geographic Traveller’s Masterclasses in London, and is a regular contributor to the UK magazine. She works as a photography guide and onboard lecturer in Patagonia, Chile – extreme locations like Antarctica and the high north are her dream assignments. Living in Chile for almost six years, she backpacked extensively around the continent, becoming fluent in Spanish, and developing a true passion for all things Latin American. With parents in Perth, she tries to split her time between the UK and Australia (pandemics permitting), and specialises in independent, adventure travel, with Western Australia, Latin America, Europe and Turkey as specialist areas. She is, of course, a keen traveller and has her sights set on new adventures.
