I’m an independent journalist, travel writer and author who’s lived in Prague, Czech Republic, for nearly three decades. I love the history, literature, culture and mystery of Central & Eastern Europe, a still often-overlooked corner of the European continent. I'm the author of 'Čas proměn' ('Time of Changes'), a personal account of the 1989 anticommunist revolutions in Central Europe and of the region's remarkable change in the decades that followed.
