About Margot
I’m a freelance writer and editor specializing in travel, music, and the hotel industry. I grew up in the US and the UK and spent much of my adult life living in France and India, where I worked as an editor before turning to freelance journalism and guidebook writing full time. When not traveling or writing, I spend my time learning languages, reading, dancing, and experimenting with plant-based cooking. I also host a monthly radio show, SubTerra, which showcases underground music from across the globe.
