About Luci
I'm a writer, editor, blogger, and Iyengar yoga teacher based in Vancouver. For Lonely Planet, my specialty since 2004 has been Hawaii, my home state, which I visited regularly pre pandemic. Between LP Hawaii updates, I'm focused on yoga (which I now teach by live streaming via Zoom), dog training, photographing "monkey puzzle" trees, and exploring Vancouver's parks, bookshops, and tea sellers. Although I'm not into social media, I'm a blogger and up to speed with tech. My approach to my myriad careers (after leaving law in the 1990s): be an autodidact, do excellent work, and deliver on time.
