Born Hoosier, I grew up in Atlanta (southern by the grace of relocation!) and started my career in entertainment in New York, working for Men's Journal and Rolling Stone magazines and freelancing for men's magazines like FHM, Stuff and Maxim. I have covered life's finer things (travel, hops, spas and gastronomy) for a variety of publications (CNN, Travel+Leisure, Condé Nast Traveller, Afar, Robb Report, New York Times T Magazine, Departures, Town & Country) and contributed to over 100 Lonely Planet guidebooks.
