About Amanda
I am a content creator who combines photography, videography and storytelling to record and share the world’s most important locations, UNESCO World Heritage Sites. I joined the Lonely Planet team in 2014 after a brief career in academia where I learned that I love to share knowledge about my passions but don't love grading papers about them.
I'm just as happy outdoor adventuring as I am spending all day in an art museum. Most of my travel days are topped off by trying the local speciality and enjoying a wine or beer that I can't get back home.
