About Alexander
I'm an editor, writer and photographer for Lonely Planet. After joining LP in 2014 as a destination editor covering the Western US and Canada, I've held various positions including managing editor of the Lonely Planet US magazine as well as my current role as senior editor of digital content.
After nearly a decade backpacking through Asia and the Middle East, I decided to establish permanent roots in Nashville, TN, where I live with my wife, Danielle, and our son, William.
