Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal is now working on a cruise liner...kind of

Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal has set sail with Carnival Cruise Line to find his lengthy sea legs. The 7’1” star is the cruise company’s newly-appointed ‘Chief Fun Officer’, or CFO for short. Shaq has taken promoting the brand’s onboard entertainment experiences very seriously, even bringing his responsibility to spread the joy back on land and into the office.

In an official statement about his appointment Shaq had this to say: “in today’s world, it’s more important than ever to choose fun, especially when everyone is busy with work, family, and life in general”. The appointment was made to personify the cruise line’s newest ‘Choose Fun’ brand campaign – a motto Shaq clearly extends to his everyday life.

His larger-than-life personality doesn’t get in the way of a stellar work ethic however, Shaq has already filmed his first hilarious ad for the cruise line.
