An Italian aid worker has been shot dead in Dhaka by a group claiming to represent Isis, the fundamentalist movement that rose in Syria and Iraq.
Cesare Tavella was the victim of a drive-by shooting by three men on a motorcycle on Monday night, and a message claiming responsibility was posted online. The attack is the latest in a string of attacks by Islamist groups in Bangladesh, which has seen a string of murders of critics of political Islam. Read more: theguardian.com
